In fact, in accordance with the Act respecting public transit authorities, adopted in June 2001, the STCUM, as of January 1, 2002, became the Société de transport de Montréal. It bears a new name, but retains its powers and continues its mission to promote and organize trips by public transit for those travelling on its territory: the new city of Montréal. More... |
