Entre deux arrêts The Between Stops Service
For the safety of women in the city

The Between Stops logo

Entre deux arrêts, the Between Stops service is available to women travelling alone on bus routes in the evening*, including on nighttime routes. The Between Stops service allows a woman to get off the bus between regular bus stops.

How can I use it?
Just tell the driver that you want to get off between two stops.

* This service is available
as of 7:30 p.m. from September to April,
and as of 9:00 p.m. from May to August.

Make your request to the driver at least one stop ahead of where you want to get off. If the driver judges that the vehicle can be stopped safely at the requested location, he or she will comply and ask that you exit by the front door of the bus.

Two ways to prevent long waits at your bus stop

Planibus schedules
For a safer trip, you may reduce the waiting time at the bus stop by consulting your Planibus. In these schedules - leaflets or online - you will find the bus route information you need in order to plan your trips more efficiently.
The Planibus schedules are updated in January, March, June and August when bus schedules change. The Planibus schedules are available on our Web site and are handed out in buses one week prior to the schedule change and during the first week of the new schedule. They are also available - while supplies last - at métro station ticket booths and at the Customer Service Centre located on the mezzanine level of Berri-UQAM station.

AUTOBUS
At any time of day, transit users can obtain bus schedule information through this voice response system. By
dialling A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) and the five-digit number for a stop, you can find out at what time the next three buses will go by this specific stop. AUTOBUS also provides schedule information up to 7 days in advance. Available around the clock in French and in English, AUTOBUS will also notify you of any route changes caused by special events or due to exceptional circumstances. Consult your bus route’s stop listing to find the five-digit number for your stop.
