Citius, Altius, Fortius (1976)

Concrete and aluminum
Location: mezzanine

This mural brings together concrete, representative of the physical world, and aluminum, symbol of the psychic world. It expresses in a poetic way the Olympic motto Citius Altius Fortius, Latin for "Faster, higher and stronger."

Did you know?

The psyche, the origin of all life and movement, is personified by the mythological figure at the centre of the work.
