Montréal, August 21, 2017 – Société de transport de Montréal (STM) today announced the commissioning of a single new terminus for Line 170 – Keller and an extension of its route, effective this August 28.
The STM will begin operation of a single terminus for this line, at the intersection of Avenues Jean-Bourdon and Louis-Jadon. This terminus relocation will extend the line to serve the residential sector near the terminus and thus improve access to the line for these residents. It will also reduce nuisances for the neighbourhood, since the former terminus was located in a residential sector.
This improvement provides 1,000 hours of additional service annually on this line.
Remember that the STM will add 100,000 hours of bus service in 2017. This initiative follows the improvementsmade in 2017 to improve customer experience.
