The STCUM Is Bringing Back the Six-Ticket Strip

Montréal, June11, 1997 - Taking into consideration the comments of a section of the ridership that resented having to purchase its tickets in booklets of 12, the members of the Board of Directors have adopted a resolution to bring back, as soon as possible, the six-ticket strip costing $8, regular fare and $4, reduced fare. This measure could come into effect next September or October. The official date will be determined within the next few days.

This means that by purchasing a six-ticket strip, customers will enjoy the same 28% discount off the price of a regular ticket ($1.85) as those who purchase a 12-ticket booklet at $16.

By this decision, the STCUM demonstrates that it listens to its ridership and that it adapts to the realities of its surrounding environment.
