Montreal, 26 November 2002 The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is currently recruiting candidates to fill various job openings. To that end, it will set up an information stand next Thursday, November 28, at Berri-UQAM métro station, Angrignon platform, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Representatives from the Human Resources department will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the available openings.
Bus drivers, shop foremen, electricians, janitorial staff, diesel mechanics, elevator mechanics, and subway trackmen are only a few of the numerous available positions. In some cases, the openings must be filled immediately, while others may only be filled in the future (eligibility list). Anyone interested can also consult the STMs website at www.stm.info , under the heading Employment, for detailed information about available openings, as well as the procedure to register.
