Cancellation of service between 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Montreal, 26 March 2003 – Due to the non-renewal of the financial partnership agreement between Bombardier Aerospace and the Société de transport de Montréal, bus service will no longer be offered between 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. on line 174 – Côte-Vertu Ouest as of April 1, 2003.

Implemented in March 2001, this service came into being, in part, to respond to the evening travel requirements of Bombardier Aerospace employees. Bombardier then agreed to participate in the financing of this service until the standard for profitability of 25 passengers per vehicle per hour was reached. With Bombardier Aerospace having made the decision to end this financial partnership, the STM finds itself obliged to cancel the service.

It should be noted, however, that service is still provided on this line from the Côte-Vertu métro station during morning and afternoon rush hour, that is, between 6:03 a.m. and 9:21 a.m. and between 2:20 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.
