Schedule change for Between Stops service

Montreal, August 28, 2003 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) wishes to inform transit users that, beginning September 1^st, the Between Stops service will be provided as of 7:30 p.m., instead of 9 p.m., as it was from May to August.

Women travelling alone at night who prefer to get off the bus between regular bus stops may do so by asking the driver ahead of time. The driver will then assess whether the bus can be safely stopped at the requested location.

The STM has provided the Between Stops service since June 1996.
