Walk-a-thon for aids
Modifications to STM bus service
on Sunday, September 21, 2003

Montreal, September 18, 2003 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) would like to inform transit users that several bus lines will be re-routed on Sunday, September 21, for the Farha Foundation’s annual Ça Marche walk-a-thon for AIDS.

As a result, there will be no service on the 15 – Sainte-Catherine between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The following bus routes will also be slightly modified at various times between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.:

  • 14 – Amherst;
  • 30 – Saint-Denis/Saint-Hubert;
  • 36 – Monk;
  • 55 – Boulevard Saint-Laurent;
  • 61 – Wellington;
  • 80 – Avenue du Parc;
  • 129 – C�te-Sainte-Catherine;
  • 150 – Ren�-L�vesque;
  • 168 – Cité du Havre.

Transit users are invited to call the TELBUS number featured on their bus stop panel when planning their transportation. For trip information (Montreal Island only), please call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287). More useful information can be found on the STM’s website at www.stm.info.

Paratransit
Several main streets may be inaccessible during the event, thus preventing paratransit vehicles from providing their usual transportation services. We strongly suggest that paratransit users confirm their trip if their point of departure or destination is located near the walk-a-thon’s planned route.
