World Car Free Day
Several bus route modifications
Montreal, 20 September 2004 – As part of World Car Free Day on Wednesday, September 22, Montréal will close several streets to road traffic in the downtown and Plateau Mont-Royal areas to hold En ville sans ma voiture. As such, several bus routes will be modified throughout the day.
Downtown
In downtown Montréal, the 15 – Sainte-Catherine, including the nighttime 358 – Sainte-Catherine, will be rerouted between midnight and 11 p.m. for the site’s installation and dismantling.
The following bus routes will also be modified from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
- 61 – Wellington;
- 80 – Avenue du Parc;
- 129 – C�te-Sainte-Catherine;
- 168 – Cité-du-Havre.
Plateau Mont-Royal
In the Plateau district, the following bus routes will be modified between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.:
- 11 – Montagne;
- 14 – Amherst;
- 97 – Mont-Royal.
