A new bus route will serve the Angus site
beginning August 28, 2006

Montreal, 5 June 2006- Earlier today, in collaboration with the Société de dveloppement Angus (SDA), the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) announced the creation of a new bus route designed for Technople Angus workers and residents of the Angus site.

Service on the 25 bus route will start next August 28 and will be provided during rush hour, from 6:45 to 9:22 am and from 4:01 to 6:38 pm, Monday to Friday. Buses will travel the return trip between Sherbrooke métro station and the Angus site in under 15 minutes.

“Integrating this new bus service into our existing network is yet another step toward increasing our offer of service in upcoming neighbourhoods, and another way of increasing public transit use. Moreover, this STM initiative contributes to protecting the environment,” declared Claude Trudel, chairman of the STM board of directors.

Details of the service will be available on August 21, 2006, by calling STM-INFO (786-4636). Transit users can also call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) for timetables at their bus stop. More useful transit information can be obtained from the STM website at www.stm.info.

Also in attendance for the announcement were Andr Lavallée, mayor of Rosemont – La Petite-Patrie borough, and Gilles Grondin, district councillor for Vieux-Rosemont.
