The STM launches its contest
D'une île � l'autre en métro, + pour vous!

Montreal, April 26, 2007 - As part of the official opening of the Cartier, de la Concorde and Montmorency métro stations, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is pleased to announce the launch of a contest, D’une île � l’autre en métro, + pour vous!, open to the general public.

“We wanted to mark the opening of the new métro stations in a very special way, while saluting the stations’ designated names,” declared Mr. Trudel, Chairman of the STM Board of Directors. “Moreover, the contest’s signature, D’une île � l’autre en métro, + pour vous!, is indicative of a new era in public transportation, with its on-going developments providing increased services to current and future clients.”

Held from April 28 to May 11, 2007, the contest features three fabulous prizes. The first prize consists of a one-week stay for two in Paris to discover Place de la Concorde, offered by Voyages CAA-Québec and worth approximately $2500. The second prize consists of a watch by Cartier, offered by March� Public 440 and worth approximately $2200. Finally, the third prize consists of a stay for two in Québec City with a fireworks show at Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, offered by Les Grands Feux Loto-Québec and worth approximately $1300.

To enter the contest D’une île � l’autre en métro, + pour vous!, participants must fill out the entry form featured in the métro newspaper’s InfoSTM page, or the on-line entry form available on the STM’s website at www.stm.info. The contest is open to Québec residents aged 18 and over.

A draw will be held May 22, 2007, at 11 am, in the STM’s offices, from all eligible entry forms received.
