With a single voice, the STM and Op�ra de Montréal
are broadening opera's public appeal

Montreal, May 14, 2007 - The STM is pleased once again to renew its partnership with Op�ra de Montréal by presenting the first of a series of performances, as part of the « Le métro me chante…» cultural event.

The voices of the Atelier lyrique’s opera singers will resonate throughout three STM métro stations for 30 minutes, as they perform Mozart’s most beautiful melodies and musical compositions.

Time and place
Monday, May 14, at 4 pm: Place-des-Arts métro station
Tuesday, May 15, at 4 pm: Atwater métro station
Wednesday, May 16, at 4 pm: Berri-UQAM métro station

This event is part of Op�ra de Montréal’s production of Don Giovani by Mozart, which will be presented at Place des Arts’ Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, May 19, 23, 26, 28, 31 and June 2, 2007.

The STM expects an enthusiastic public response and hopes that many will attend these very special musical events, made possible in collaboration with Op�ra de Montréal.
