Métro access and bus route modifications during the
Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île de Montréal events

9 The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is pleased to inform clients who will be taking part in Montréal’s Bike Fest that, again this year, it will be possible for them to carry their bicycle in the métro when the events, Un tour la nuit and Tour de l’Île de Montréal are held.

For easier access to the departure points for these two events, the STM has identified entry and exit stations for each métro line. Other stations have also been chosen for the return home, as follows:

ENTRY AND EXIT STATIONS FOR EACH MÉTRO LINE

Un tour la nuit (Friday, June 5, between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.)

To reach the departure point for Un Tour la nuit, only the following stations will be accessible:

Green Line

  • Entry stations: Radisson, LaSalle, Angrignon
  • Exit station: Beaudry

Orange Line

  • Entry stations: Montmorency, Henri-Bourassa, Vendôme, Côte-Vertu
  • Exit station: Laurier

Yellow Line

  • Entry station: Longueuil—Université-de-Sherbrooke
  • Exit station: Berri-UQAM

Blue Line

  • Entry stations: Saint-Michel, Côte-des-Neiges
  • Exit station: Fabre

For the return home, the following stations will be accessible from 9:30 p.m. to
12:30 a.m.:

Green Line

  • Entry station: Place-des-Arts
  • Exit stations: All stations

Orange Line

  • Entry station: Laurier
  • Exit stations: All stations

Yellow Line

  • Entry station: Berri-UQAM
  • Exit stations: All stations

Blue Line

  • Entry station: Outremont
  • Exit stations: All stations

Tour de l’Île de Montréal (Sunday, June 7, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

To reach the departure point for the Tour de l’Île de Montréal, only the following stations will be accessible between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.:

Green Line

  • Entry stations: Radisson, Joliette, La Salle, Angrignon
  • Exit station: Place-des-Arts

Orange Line

  • Entry stations: Montmorency, Henri-Bourassa, Côte-Vertu
  • Exit station: Place-d’Armes

Yellow Line

  • Entry station: Longueuil—Université-de-Sherbrooke
  • Exit station: Berri-UQAM

Blue Line

  • Entry stations: Saint-Michel, Côte-des-Neiges
  • Exit station: De Castelnau

For the return home, the following stations will be accessible from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

Green Line

  • Entry station: Place-des-Arts
  • Exit stations: All stations

Orange Line

  • Entry station: Laurier
  • Exit stations: All stations

Yellow Line

  • Entry station: Berri-UQAM
  • Exit stations: All stations

Blue Line

  • Entry station: Outremont
  • Exit stations: All stations

The STM also asks transit users to take note of the following:

  • No bicycles will be allowed in the métro from non-designated entry stations;
  • The maximum number of bicycles per train is 16 and only in the train’s lead car;
  • For people with their bicycle, no transfers are allowed between métro lines;
  • Only standard bicycles are admitted in the métro (no tandems, tricycles, child trailers, etc.).

Moreover, the Société de transport de Montréal reminds transit users that riding a bicycle, using a foot scooter or a skateboard, and rollerblading inside a métro station or aboard any vehicle is forbidden at all times.

BUS ROUTE MODIFICATIONS

Because of these two major cycling events, several bus routes will be modified.

Un tour la nuit – Friday, June 5

Service will be cancelled on the following bus routes:

  • 93 – Jean-Talon, from 7:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • 99 – Villeray, from 7:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The following bus routes will also be modified during these specified periods:

  • 10 – De Lorimier, from 7: 30 p.m. et 11:45 p.m.
  • 11 – Montagne, from 7:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.
  • 18 – Beaubien, from 7:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.
  • 27 – Boulevard St-Joseph, from 5:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • 45 – Papineau, from 7:15 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
  • 47 – Masson, from 7:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • 51 – Édouard-Montpetit, from 7:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.
  • 55 – Boul. Saint-Laurent, from 7:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.
  • 94 – D’Iberville from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • 95 – Bélanger, from 7:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

  • 78 – Laurendeau, from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
  • 92 – Jean-Talon Ouest, from 8 a.m. to 12 :30 p.m.
  • 102 – Somerled, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • 150 – René-Lévesque, from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
  • 160 – Barclay, from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
  • 161 – Van Horne, from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

When planning their transportation to these events, transit users should call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) for bus schedules at their stop, as well as bus detours. For all other information, including travel directions, please call STM●INFO (786-4636), option 7.
