Monday, July 20, 2009: Reopening of the Henri-Bourassa bus terminus

Montréal, July 17, 200
9 As part of the work to implement its métro accessibility project, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) had to temporarily move the Henri-Bourassa bus terminus to the north side.

Due to the progress of the work, the STM is pleased to advise its clientele of the reopening on July 20 of the Henri-Bourassa bus terminus on the south side of the boulevard.

Therefore, transfers to routes 30, 48, 49, 53, 56, 89, 146, 159, 164, 171, 361 and 363 will be made at this location as of that date.

The reopening of the Henri-Bourassa terminus marks the end of one stage of the work to install the elevators. The other work will continue underground until the summer of 2010.

It should be noted that five stations on the orange line form part of the first phase of the métro accessibility project. These are Lionel-Groulx, Bonaventure, Berri-UQAM, Henri-Bourassa and Côte-Vertu.
