Montréal, August 21, 2017 – With the fall school term about to get underway, STM wants to remind full-time students that it is time for them to apply for their student OPUS card, as it allows them to save 40% on the monthly adult fare. To get their card, students can take advantage of STM’s photo sessions at schools, go to STM’s photo studio or apply for one online, an option available to students attending one of the four participating universities.

By quickly applying for a new card or renewing their card, students make it easier for themselves and save themselves the time and trouble of waiting in line at the last minute. The cards are good for one year, until October 31 of the next year after purchase. For this reason, it is important to renew their card each year.
