The STM to add bus service to the 25 Angus as of August 26

Press release

New enhanced bus service on line 25 Angus

Montréal, August 20, 2019 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) wishes to inform its customers of a new enhanced bus service on line 25 Angus, starting August 26, 2019.

“The improved service will operate during peak periods Monday to Friday, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., guaranteeing a ten-minute frequency in both directions. This will allow us to provide better service to our customers using the line,” said Philippe Schnobb, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the STM.

“The purpose of these measures is to facilitate access to a major employment hub using public transportation. By implementing them, the STM aims to create a modal shift in favour of sustainable transportation and new travel habits for citizens living in or coming to the area,” said Eric-Alan Caldwell, City of Montréal executive committee member responsible for transportation.

This service improvement is in addition to the improvements that were implemented last June outside of peak periods and in the evenings and last January during peak morning and afternoon periods. Line 25 Angus was introduced in 2006 and specifically aims to provide access to public transit for Technopôle Angus workers and residents in the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie areas.
