The STM awards a contract for the architectural design of two new Blue line stations

The STM awards the contract for the architectural design of the two remaining stations on the blue line extension: "Les Architectes FABG" are mandated to design Viau station while "STGM + Daoust Lestage Architectes en consortium" will be responsible for Lacordaire station.

Montreal, January 20, 2020 – Following a public call for tenders, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is announcing that it has selected the architectural firms that will design the two remaining stations on the blue line extension, following a first contract for three stations in november.

"Les Architectes FABG" are mandated to design Viau station, for a maximum amount of 807 000 $, while "STGM + Daoust Lestage Architectes en consortium" will be responsible for Lacordaire station, for a maximum amount of 1 256 500 $. These contracts cover the first phase of design.

As noted above, it was announced in november that two teams from « Lemay Bisson Fortin Architectes en consortium » were mandated for Anjou and Pie-IX stations, while the firm ACDF Architecture has been awarded the contract for Langelier station.
