A a playlist as a fun way to remind its customers of how the bus and métro networks have always inspired Montrealers and brightened their days
Montréal, March 30, 2021 – With the arrival of spring and the lockdown slowly being lifted in Montréal, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is presenting a playlist as a fun way to remind its customers of how the bus and métro networks have always inspired Montrealers and brightened their days. The playlist will be available starting today on the STM website.
“As vaccination rates ramp up after a full year of pandemic, we all have good reason to hope for a return to some kind of normal. That includes our customers’ gradual return to our bus and métro networks. We are very excited to welcome more of our customers back and to keep helping them get where they need to go on public transit,” says Philippe Schnobb, Chair of the STM Board of Directors.
Striking a chord with bus and métro users
The playlist of around 20 songs from decades past was created to commemorate major milestones in the history of the bus and métro networks. It is also a great way for customers interested in the history of the STM to discover—or re-discover—the musical heritage of Montréal public transit.
