STM transit service modifications
Montreal, 3 June 2004 – For reasons of safety, transporting a bicycle in the métro will not be allowed as of 3 p.m.while the Un tour la nuit cycling event is held next Friday, June 4. The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) reminds all transit users once again that riding a bicycle, using a foot scooter or a skateboard, and rollerblading inside a métro station or aboard a bus is forbidden at all times.
Bus service modifications
There will be no service from 8:15 p.m. to midnight on the 11 – Montagne,
55 – Boulevard Saint-Laurent, 80 – Avenue du Parc and 129 – C�te-Sainte-Catherine bus routes.
The following bus routes will be slightly altered during the indicated periods:
- 18 – Beaubien, from 8:15 p.m. to midnight;
- 27 – Boul. Saint-Joseph, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.;
- 30 – Saint-Denis/Saint-Hubert, from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.;
- 47 – Masson, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.;
- 51 – Boulevard Édouard-Montpetit, from 8:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.;
- 97 – Mont-Royal, from 8:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.;
- 160 – Barclay, from 8:15 p.m. to midnight;
- 161 – Van Horne, from 8:15 p.m. to midnight;
- 179 – De l’Acadie, from 8:15 p.m. to midnight;
- 197 – Rosemont, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.
