Following the announcement of the transfer of paratransit minibus service to external partners, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has confirmed today that it is awarding new service contracts to three suppliers that will meet current and future user needs starting in 2026, namely through accessible vans, rigorous quality control and appropriate training.
As part of the progress of the Blue Line Extension Project, the STM is continuing its efforts to mitigate the impact of construction on local mobility. Starting July 7, a new shuttle bus, line 814 Jean-Talon East / Bélanger, will be introduced to improve travel in the area affected by the construction sites. This supplementary service will run in a loop between Viau Street and Langelier Boulevard, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, with a frequency of approximately 30 minutes.
