STM is getting ready for the Nuit Blanche!

News

The STM will be at the heart of the festivities this year, facilitating festival-goers’ trips by exceptionally opening the métro all night long at the usual fare, and offering a special paratransit service until 4 a.m., in addition to hosting unique artistic performances at its métro stations.

With nine poles of activity across the city, the 2018 edition of the Nuit Blanche, which will take place from March 3 to 4, 2018, as part of the Montreal en Lumière, has something for everyone. Once again, the STM will be at the heart of the festivities this year, facilitating festival-goers’ trips by exceptionally opening the métro all night long at the usual fare, and offering a special paratransit service until 4 a.m., in addition to hosting unique artistic performances at its métro stations.

Berri-UQAM will transform into a dance floor, with a swing class by the Cat’s Corner School from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and a salsa class with the San Tropez School from 10 p.m. to midnight. From 8 p.m. to midnight, the St-Laurent station will host improvised scratch sessions on instrumental music by Sunday Scratch Session artists.

Plan your travel
In addition to the all-night métro access, customers will also be able to count on the regular bus network and the night bus network, from midnight onwards, for their travels. Since the métro and buses will be available at the usual fare, it is essential to have a valid transit pass to travel. For this purpose, the fare Unlimited Evening is the perfect pass to enjoy the Nuit Blanche and celebrate until the early hours of the morning: unlimited bus and métro transit between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m. for only $5.

The STM is ready to make the most of the wildest night of winter!
