Discover the bike shelter at Lionel-Groulx métro station
If you are an STM customer and a cycling fan, you could enjoy free use of our controlled-access shelter located only a few steps from the station.
How does it work?
The bike shelter is locked at all times. Only cyclists who are registered can access the shelter, using an electronic key loaded on their OPUS card. To unlock the door, place your card next to the card reader and you’re in! You can park your bike at any time, for up to 48 consecutive hours.
The shelter is accessible day and night, except for a brief time from 3:30 to 4:00 a.m., when the OPUS terminal is updated.
Space availability
The STM cannot control the use of spaces or guarantee their availability. They are self-serve and available on a first come, first served basis. As demand is high, the STM aims to make the bike shelter accessible to as many people as possible, while maintaining an optimal balance between the number of people using it and the availability of spaces.
Want to try it?
Reach the station agent at the Lionel-Groulx métro station to sign up, load your electronic key on your OPUS card and receive a user’s guide explaining the rules.
