Montréal, le 24 mars 2016 – La Société de transport de Montréal s’est distinguée à l’occasion de la première édition du Gala des prix d’excellence Durabilys, organisé par le Conseil du bâtiment durable du Québec, qui s’est tenu hier soir. La Société a reçu le prix d’excellence dans la catégorie Responsabilité sociale des entreprises et organismes et le Centre de transport Stinson s’est également mérité un prix pour son toit vert.
Montréal, March 18, 2016 – From March 21 to June 19, 2016, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will conduct a pilot project, allowing passengers to board buses on the 121 – Sauvé / Côte-Vertu line at both front and rear doors, an initiative that is consistent with STM’s focus on improving the transit experience for customers, in its ongoing efforts to persuade people to use public transit more than ever.
The new practice will be in effect every day of the week, from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., when ridership levels and conditions permit.
Montréal, le 18 mars 2016 – Du 21 mars au 19 juin 2016, la Société de transport de Montréal mettra en place un projet pilote d’embarquement par toutes les portes sur les bus de la ligne 121 – Sauvé / Côte-Vertu, une démarche qui s’inscrit dans la volonté d’améliorer sans cesse l’expérience de la clientèle en accélérant l’embarquement et en assurant une meilleure répartition des clients à bord des bus.
Cette pratique sera en vigueur tous les jours de la semaine de 5 h 30 à 19 h, alors que l’achalandage et les conditions le permettent.
Montréal, March 15, 2016 – Today, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is issuing a call for project proposals to give a second life to some first-generation métro cars, commonly referred to as MR-63, for matériel roulant, or rolling stock, whose purchase contract was signed in 1963. The deadline for the public call for proposals is next June 1.
Montréal, le 15 mars 2016 – La Société de transport de Montréal (STM) lance aujourd’hui un appel de projets pour donner une seconde vie à certaines voitures de métro de première génération, communément appelées MR-63 (matériel roulant dont le contrat a été signé en 1963). Cet appel de projets se terminera le 1er juin prochain.
Situation update at 1:45 PM : The STM was able to determine that the leaking appears to be caused by snow thawing on a neighbouring lot. With the ground still frozen and not able to absorb this streaming water, it found its way down to the concrete walls of the station.
After noticing abnormal water infiltration at the Beaubien metro station, the STM took the necessary steps to find the source of the problem quickly.
Mise à jour à 13 h 45 : à la suite de l'investigation menée par les équipes de la STM ce matin, il appert que l'infiltration d'eau serait causée par l'eau de ruissellement de fonte des neiges en provenance d'un terrain voisin. Le sol étant encore gelé, l'eau s'est frayée un chemin jusqu'aux parois en béton de la station.

A true urban symphony to which the OSM and its music director, Kent Nagano, will be inviting audiences throughout an 83rd musical season consisting of close to 100 concerts.
