Le conseil d’administration de la Société de transport de Montréal (STM) est heureux d’annoncer la nomination de M. Luc Tremblay à titre de directeur général de l’entreprise publique. La candidature de M. Tremblay a été retenue à la suite d’un processus de sélection qui a attiré de nombreux candidats de qualité.
Good news for parents planning activities in Montréal during summer: once again this year, children can ride the STM’s public transit system for free thanks to its Family Outings promotion. In addition, several STM partners will be offering generous discounts to fare-card holders, allowing families to take full advantage of their holidays.
From June 25 to mid-September 2015, the bus lane in front of LaSalle métro station will be completely refurbished and bus stops will be relocated. Clients are advised to plan ahead by consulting this map.
The work will consist mainly of:
- Replacing the damaged pavement by a new concrete surface;
- Repairing a few sections of sidewalk;
- Rebuilding the drainage channel under the road;
- Rebuilding the central curb that separates the lanes.

Du 25 juin au 11 septembre, la STM procédera à la réfection de la voie des bus à la station de métro LaSalle, ce qui entraînera le déplacement temporaire de plusieurs arrêts. Les clients sont invités à prévoir leurs déplacements en consultant le plan montrant les arrêts déplacés.

This interactive report is a first for the STM, as it now publishes an integrated report that includes the activity, sustainable development and financial reports. It is also the first edition that meets Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 requirements. To that end, the STM consulted its internal and external stakeholders to ensure the materiality of sustainable development issues covered in this report. Over 2,400 customers, 32 organizations and 260 employees took part in the exercise.
Ce rapport interactif marque une première car la STM publie désormais un rapport intégré couvrant le rapport d’activité, le rapport financier et le bilan de développement durable. C’est également la première édition produite selon les exigences G4 de la Global Reporting Initiative. Pour ce faire, la STM a consulté ses parties prenantes internes et externes afin de s’assurer de la pertinence des enjeux de développement durable couverts dans ce rapport. Plus de 2 400 clients, 32 organismes et 260 employés ont participé à cet exercice.
Two STM projects distinguished themselves at the Prix Novae de l'Entreprise citoyenne gala. The STM’s approach to sustainable procurement was a finalist in the « Procurement » category while the STM’s project to develop a self-propelled, electric light rail motor tractor (locotractor) for tunnel work was also a runner-up in the “Ecoconception” category. The Prix Novae de l'Entreprise citoyenne prize rewards best practices in areas of sustainability and social responsibility in Québec.

La STM a vu deux de ses projets se démarquer hier lors du gala des Prix Novae de l'Entreprise citoyenne. La démarche d'approvisionnement responsable de la STM a été finaliste dans la catégorie Approvisionnement alors que le projet de développement de locotracteurs électriques à propulsion autonome pour travaux en tunnel l’a également été dans la catégorie Écodesign. Les Prix Novae de l'Entreprise citoyenne récompensent les meilleures pratiques de développement durable et de responsabilité sociale au Québec.
Montréal, June 18, 2015 – The Vendôme multimodal hub's new pedestrian tunnel officially opened this morning, in the presence of elected officials and partners. The tunnel's construction and the hub configuration improvements were essential to providing easier and safer access at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Glen site for the patients, visitors and employees who use the public transport services offered by the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
