The two corridors leading to the station’s exits each contain a mural by Jean Cartier. The artist created oval-shaped patterns in warm colours for the south exit and in cool colours for the north exit.

About the artist
Born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Jean Cartier (1924-1996) had a brilliant career as a ceramist spanning nearly fifty years. Several of his works were integrated into the architecture of buildings including station Papineau and station Cadillac.
