On Friday, July 12, in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross, the STM will be collecting donations in four metro stations to support victims of the disaster in Lac-Mégantic.
You are welcome to make a donation at the Berri-UQAM, Honoré-Beaugrand, McGill, or Bonaventure stations. All funds collected will go the Canadian Red Cross, an organization whose philanthropic and humanitarian efforts are supported by the STM.
The Red Cross is already hard at work in Lac-Mégantic, helping to meet the needs of those who had to be evacuated.
Ce vendredi 12 juillet, la STM, en collaboration avec la Croix-Rouge canadienne, tiendra une collecte de fonds dans quatre stations de métro afin de soutenir les sinistrés de Lac-Mégantic.
Vous êtes invités à contribuer à la collecte lors de votre passage aux stations Berri-UQAM, Honoré-Beaugrand, McGill et Bonaventure. L’argent recueilli sera remis à la Croix- Rouge canadienne, un organisme parrainé par la STM dans le cadre de ses initiatives philanthropiques et humanitaires.

Alstom a inauguré aujourd'hui sa nouvelle usine de fabrication de bogies de 55 000 pi2 située dans le complexe industriel de pointe à Sorel-Tracy, au Québec. Construite pour répondre aux besoins d'Alstom dans le cadre du contrat de 1,2 milliards $ CA (864 millions €) entre le consortium Bombardier-Alstom et la Société de transport de Montréal (STM) pour la fourniture de 468 nouvelles voitures de métro, l'usine est dédiée à l'assemblage de plus de 900 bogies.
Alstom today inaugurated its new 55,000-square-foot bogie manufacturing plant located in the cutting-edge industrial complex in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. Built to serve Alstom's needs in the context of a $1.2 billion CA ($864 million €) contract between the Bombardier-Alstom consortium and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) to supply the STM with 468 new metro cars, the plant will assemble more than 900 bogies.
