Montréal, December 20, 2023 – The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is announcing the opening of a new temporary reserved lane for buses, taxis and bicycles on De Lorimier Avenue, due to the road congestion already present in the sector and by the major work in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, which will begin on December 26, 2023. 

Montréal, le 20 décembre 2023 – La Société de transport de Montréal (STM) annonce l’ouverture d’une nouvelle voie réservée temporaire pour les bus, les taxis et les vélos sur l’avenue De Lorimier, en raison de la congestion routière déjà présente dans le secteur et accrue par les travaux de réfection majeure du tunnel Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine, et ce, à compter du 26 décembre prochain. 

The 439 Express Pie-IX is the main bus along the BRT corridor and will run more frequently on the Laval, Henri-Bourassa and Lacordaire routes as of January 8, 2024.
