On February 18, the STM proudly unveiled the results of its 2020-2021 generosity campaign to the four charitable organizations supported by this year’s donations.

In a show of solidarity, the campaign raised a grand total of $653,415 in donations from 2952 STM employees and 1107 retirees. The contributions to each organization are as follows: $268,472 to Réchaud-Bus, $131,964 to Centraide, $159,162 to the Red Cross and $93,969 to PartenaireSanté-Québec.

C’est avec émotion que les résultats de la Campagne de générosité 2020-2021 ont été dévoilés le 18 février dernier aux quatre organismes chapeautés par la STM.

Ce vaste mouvement de solidarité a permis d’amasser l’importante somme de 653 415 $ auprès de 2952 employés et de 1107 retraités de la STM. Elle se répartit de la façon suivante : 268 472 $ pour Réchaud-Bus, 131 964 $ pour Centraide, 159 162 $ pour la Croix-Rouge et 93 969 $ pour Partenairesanté-Québec.

Ainsi, la STM rappellera la mise en place d’outils particulièrement utiles en temps de pandémie, comme : les taux d’occupation bus et métro, le paiement sans contact par débit et crédit disponible depuis décembre dans les loges de toutes les stations de métro et l’enregistrement de la carte OPUS.

The committee’s members have expertise in a variety of relevant fields and belong to various industries and organizations. Their main task will be to propose names for the future stations on the Blue line extension by summer 2021.

Montréal, January 7, 2021 – With the announcement of the new lockdown measures that will be in effect beginning January 9 for a minimum of four weeks, including a curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) wishes to provide an update to reassure its customers who will be affected by this situation, particularly essential workers. Both the bus and métro networks, as well as the paratransit service, will remain available, and the STM will maintain its current level of service.
