State of situation for the STM's bus network (4:30 PM)

While the number of buses that are stuck is decreasing, delays remain network-wide.

State of situation for the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) bus network at 4:30 PM  

  • Network-wide delays are still to be expected
  • At 4:30 PM, roughly 40 buses remain stuck (at the heart of the storm, around 200 were stranded at the same time). This number keeps decreasing thanks to the 8 tow trucks working full time to get them back on the road
  • Everything is going smoothly in the métro and it's the best travel option
  • If the clients need to use the bus, STM advices to plan ahead and expect longer commuting times
  • The STM thanks its clients for their patience and cooperation
