In support of the initiative led by the Société de transport de Laval (STL), the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) invites its employees and customers to observe one minute of silence tomorrow, Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 8:24 a.m. in memory of the victims of the tragedy that occurred on February 8 in Laval.
Bus drivers, at their discretion, will be allowed to bring their buses to a safe stop at the next stop on their route, to observe the minute of silence. A message of sympathy will also be played on speakers in the métro network.
Through this gesture, the STM wishes to express its condolences to the families of the victims, the people affected by this tragedy, as well as the employees of the STL who all have been going through difficult times since last week. The STM is wholeheartedly with you.
