Universal Accessibility Plan
The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is proud to present its 2030 Universal Accessibility (UA) Plan.
Fully aligned with the STM’s 2030 Strategic Organizational Plan, the STM’s 2030 UA Plan outlines four key strategies and nine areas for action that reflect an inclusive vision of accessibility. Many of the actions are to be taken by 2030, including:
- Continuing to modernize the STM’s infrastructure and equipment to make the bus and métro networks more universally accessible
- Keeping current initiatives in place to improve the reliability and availability of vehicles, infrastructure and equipment
- Providing our employees with tools and training so that they’re more aware of the issue and better equipped to help our customers with functional limitations make full use of our equipment and infrastructure
