Improving transit through tangible actions

In 2015, we undertook a strategic shift, focusing on improving the transit experience for customers. To ensure that we live up to that commitment, we closely monitor key performance indicators, as they are a reflection of your public transit experience.

Some indicators are published annually, while others are available every month. We will be adding others on a regular basis for even greater transparency.

The Key Performance Indicators have been revised to align with the ongoing work on our 2030 Strategic Organizational Plan. A first update of the indicators was made at the end of May 2023.

International benchmarking results

The STM takes part in international performance benchmarking networks. The results complement internal management indicators and help identify strengths, areas of concern, best practices, and key areas for improvement. Since 2024, the STM is committed to publishing the results of this process on an annual basis.
