News

Service on bus line 55 - Boulevard Saint-Laurent will be improved starting Monday August 28 with a route extension to Boulevard Henri-Bourassa ane the métro station of the same name.

Société de transport de Montréal (STM) today announced an improvement of service on Line 55 – Boulevard Saint-Laurent, with a route extension to Boulevard Henri-Bourassa and the métro station of the same name, effective August 28.

This change eliminates the need to transfer between Lines 55 and 53, in addition to ensuring a continuous bus link for the full length of Boulevard Saint-Laurent, while offering a connection with the Henri-Bourassa métro station. Access to the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough, and especially to the Chabanel sector, is also facilitated. A total of 11,000 hours of service thus is being added annually.

Remember that the addition of 100,000 hours of bus service over the year follows the upgrades in 2017 to improve customer experience.
