UN TOUR LA NUIT
        Bicycles barred from métro
        and other modifications to STM bus service
Montreal, May 30, 2007 - For safety reasons, carrying a bicycle in the métro will not be allowed as of 3 p.m. while the Un tour la nuit cycling event is held next Friday, June 1. The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) reminds all transit users once again that riding a bicycle, using a foot scooter or a skateboard, and wearing rollerblades inside a métro station or aboard a bus is forbidden at all times.
Bus service modifications
In addition to deviating several         bus routes, the event will require the cancellation of service on the                         29 – Rachel        from 7:30 pm to 11:15 pm,                 34 – Sainte-Catherine        from 7:30 pm to midnight,                 47 –        Masson         from 7:30 pm to 10:45 pm and
        94 – D’Iberville         from 7:30 pm to 11 pm.
The following bus routes will be slightly altered during the indicated periods:
-         10 – De Lorimier, from 7:30 pm to 11 pm 
-         11 – Montagne, from 7:30 pm to 11:15 pm 
-         15 – Sainte-Catherine, from 7:30 pm to 11:15 pm 
-         24 – Sherbrooke, from 7:30 pm to 11:15 pm 
-         27 – Boul. Saint-Joseph, from 7:30 am to 10:45 pm 
-         30 – Saint-Denis/Saint-Hubert, from 7:30 pm to 11:15 pm 
-         45 – Papineau from 7:30 pm to 11 pm 
-         67 – Saint-Michel, from 7:30 pm to 10:45 pm 
-         85 – Hochelaga from 7:30 pm to midnight 
-         94 – D’Iberville from 11 pm to 11:45 pm 
-         97 – Mont-Royal, from 7:30 pm to 11 pm 
-         125 – Ontario, from 7:30 pm to midnight 
-         132 – Viau, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm 
-         139 – Pie IX, from 7:30 pm to 10:45 pm 
-         197 – Rosemont, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm 
When planning their transportation to this event, transit users should check their Planibus and Infobus or call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) for bus schedules at their stop.
