The STM launches a recognition and solidarity campaign during COVID-19

A month-long campaign called “A heart in motion"

Montréal, May 11, 2020 – In response to the current crisis, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is starting a campaign today to show recognition and solidarity during COVID-19. The month-long campaign, called “A heart in motion,” was created to thank and support front-line STM workers providing essential services under difficult conditions.

“The gradual lockdown lifting that will begin in the coming weeks will bring new challenges for Montréal public transit. To help us show support for our employees and all the other workers, like them, who continue to care for Montréal, we are inviting you all to join the movement by wearing this heart of solidarity,” says Luc Tremblay, Chief Executive Officer of the STM.

With this gesture, the STM is calling on transit customers and all Montrealers to take part in a positive movement and come together in solidarity. The heart cut-out is available in all the colours of the rainbow atœur.
