Free for kids 6-11 years old
Children ages 6 to 11 may ride for free while accompanied by a chaperone at least 14 years old. Chaperones must have a valid transit fare.
Only children, accompanying parents and optional travel companions registered in Transport adapté files may benefit from this offer.
Please note that children travelling alone will still have to pay their own fares.
This program is applicable to trips in both the STM and ARTM service areas.
Free transit for seniors 65+
Since July 1, 2023, residents of the agglomeration of Montréal age 65 and up are able to enjoy free public transit (bus, métro, train, REM and paratransit) within Zone A (the agglomeration of Montréal).
