STM announces new temporary measures to improve métro safety
In response to the ongoing impact of the homelessness crisis on the métro network and the increased pressure on its operations, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), together with the City of Montréal and the City of Montréal’s police department (SPVM), is announcing new temporary measures aimed at enhancing safety and improving operations for the remainder of the winter. The measures will be in place until April 30.
The STM announces extension of two bus lines in southwestern Montréal
Extension of the route for line 61 Wellington to Verdun and LaSalle, and line 114 Angrignon to LaSalle and Lachine starting from March 24th.
Notice of appointment: STM Board of Directors welcomes Catherine Boucher
Catherine Boucher has been appointed to the STM Board of Directors as a designated representative of public transit customers and member under 35. She succeeds Claudia Lacroix Perron, whose term is coming to an end after almost 14 years of service.
