Work near De la Savane Métro station

Work is currently underway on De Sorel Street, located behind De la Savane Station to build a public square and a pedestrian bridge over the Decarie Expressway, leading to the RoyalMount residential and commercial development project.

Texte important

The footbridge has been in service since September 5, 2024. It can be accessed from De la Savane station.

The STM is not in charge of this work and is not a partner in the project. If you have any questions about the work site, please directly contact the contractor Magil-Tisseur.

Potential impacts

  • Métro : no impact is expected on the metro service. The De la Savane Métro station will remain open troughout the work.
  • Bus : since March 13, 2023, bus stop 50377 De la Savane (Décarie / De Sorel) has been moved to the corner of Bougainville Street, approximately 30 metres down. The stop will remain there until autumn 2024.
